Hi. I'm Andrés Trujillo, and I write free bilingual stories for Spanish learners

When I was learning English, I understood that studying grammar is not enough to speak a language fluently.

I mean, grammar is important, but you need to do more than that.

  • You have to read and listen to content in that language.
  • You need to learn words and expressions that you won’t find in a textbook, but that people use in everyday conversations.
  • And you need to talk to other people and use everything you learn to develop confidence and fluency.

I write these stories to help you with the first two points.

These stories are written in both English and Spanish for two reasons:

  1. You can see how native speakers use Spanish in everyday situations (I write these stories in the same way I would tell them to my local friends).
  2. If you have the English version of the story, you can understand exactly what I mean, instead of asking Google Translator and possibly getting an incorrect translation.

And what are these stories about?

They can be about anything.

Sometimes, I write about a personal anecdote.

Sometimes, I write about a friend’s anecdote (I ask them first if I can write about it).

And sometimes, I write about something that happened in Ecuador that I think you may find interesting.

Would you like to receive my stories in your email inbox?
